SUMMARY:District VIII Convention
DESCRIPTION:Beginning in March and continuing each weekend throughout April\, Districts will meet in Convention for the purpose of conducting its business and electing officers for the 2024-25 membership year which begins on July 1.  Each District is required to elect Representatives to the Department Convention’s Constitution and Bylaws\, Resolutions\, Credentials and Rules Committees\, and the District’s Delegates and Alternates to the National Convention in New Orleans\, Louisiana\, August 23 – 29\, 2024.  Every Legionnaire is encouraged to attend their District’s Convention as a delegate\, alternate\, or guest representing their Post.  Interested members should notify their Post they wish to serve as a Delegate or Alternate to their District or the Department Convention\, or both.
